CAMTEL bundles on Switchn: temporary manual activation steps
CAMTEL is currently updating its system. Because of this, automatic CAMTEL bundle activation on Switchn may fail for now.
The good news is that manual activation via CAMTEL USSD still works.
What users should do
- Buy CAMTEL airtime on Switchn.
- If the bundle is not activated automatically, dial
*857#first to check whether it is already active. - If the bundle is not active, dial the correct CAMTEL USSD code for that bundle.
- If the exact code is not known, dial
*825#and follow the CAMTEL Blue menu. - Android users can also open
Switchn > Menu > USSD Codes > Blue.
Important:
- The airtime usually remains on the CAMTEL SIM card even if automatic activation fails.
- Please check with
*857#before buying the same bundle again.
