CAMTEL Internet Configuration Guide for Mobile Devices

To configure CAMTEL internet on your mobile device, please follow the relevant steps below based on your operating system.



Android Configuration


  1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network > Access Point Names (APN).
  2. Click on the + icon to add a new APN.
  3. Enter the following details:
    • Name: Camtel
    • APN: camtel
    • Proxy: Not set
    • Port: Not set
    • Username: Not set
    • Password: Not set
    • Server: Not set
    • MMSC: Not set
    • MMS Proxy: Not set
    • MMS Port: Not set
    • MCC: 624
    • MNC: 03
    • Authentication Type: None
    • APN Type: default
    • APN Protocol: IPv4
    • APN Roaming Protocol: IPv4
  1. Save the APN settings and select the newly created APN.
  2. Ensure mobile data is activated and restart your device if necessary.




iPhone Configuration


  1. Open Settings from your Home screen.
  2. Tap on Cellular.
  3. Ensure Cellular Data is activated.
  4. Tap on Cellular Data Network and enter:
    • Cellular Data APN: camtel
    • Username: Leave blank
    • Password: Leave blank
      MMS settings can remain unchanged or empty unless specifically needed.
  1. Restart your device to apply the changes.



Verify Internet Connectivity


After applying these settings:

  • Turn off Wi-Fi to ensure you are testing mobile data only.
  • Open your browser and navigate to a webpage to verify internet connectivity.
