CAMTEL Internet Configuration Guide for Mobile Devices
To configure CAMTEL internet on your mobile device, please follow the relevant steps below based on your operating system.
Android Configuration
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network > Access Point Names (APN).
- Click on the + icon to add a new APN.
- Enter the following details:
- Name: Camtel
- APN: camtel
- Proxy: Not set
- Port: Not set
- Username: Not set
- Password: Not set
- Server: Not set
- MMSC: Not set
- MMS Proxy: Not set
- MMS Port: Not set
- MCC: 624
- MNC: 03
- Authentication Type: None
- APN Type: default
- APN Protocol: IPv4
- APN Roaming Protocol: IPv4
- Save the APN settings and select the newly created APN.
- Ensure mobile data is activated and restart your device if necessary.
iPhone Configuration
- Open Settings from your Home screen.
- Tap on Cellular.
- Ensure Cellular Data is activated.
- Tap on Cellular Data Network and enter:
- Cellular Data APN: camtel
- Username: Leave blank
- Password: Leave blank
MMS settings can remain unchanged or empty unless specifically needed.
- Restart your device to apply the changes.
Verify Internet Connectivity
After applying these settings:
- Turn off Wi-Fi to ensure you are testing mobile data only.
- Open your browser and navigate to a webpage to verify internet connectivity.
