How to Activate a Camtel Blue or Yoomee Bundle Using Airtime
To activate a Blue or YooMee bundle using the airtime balance of your SIM card, follow these steps:
Go to the "Convert Airtime" menu in the Switchn app. (Or "**Airtime To Bundle**", or "**Airtime → Bundle**")
Select the desired bundle and enter the recipient's phone number.
Click to validate. This action will attempt to convert your SIM card's airtime into the selected internet bundle.
You will receive a notification with transaction feedback.
For security reasons, Switchn verifies if the total of your previous airtime purchases for the recipient number through the Switchn app is sufficient to cover the cost of the selected bundle. Purchases made outside the Switchn platform (e.g., via a physical callbox) are not considered.
Example validation error:
"The total amount of your airtime purchases for [number] is 0, which is below the cost of Blue Mo S (Spot). To prevent misuse, please buy airtime and try again."
