# How to Verify the Recipient’s Name

To ensure your transfer reaches the correct recipient, Switchn allows you to verify the recipient's name before finalizing the transaction. Follow these simple steps:

### Steps to Verify Recipient’s Name:

1. **Open Switchn** and navigate to the **Send** tab.
2. Enter the recipient’s phone number, the transfer amount, and your payer details.
3. Tap **Next**.
4. The recipient’s name will appear. If it hasn't appeared immediately, you'll see a message indicating that the name is being fetched.
5. Once the name appears, verify carefully that it matches the intended recipient.
6. After confirming the recipient’s identity, tap **Send** to finalize your transaction.


Always verify the displayed name to avoid sending funds to the wrong recipient.
